Castle of Salzburg

Old Town of Salzburg
Salzburg has a lovely, charming medieval old town. Small streets and cozy squares. Many shops, pubs, restaurants. Salzburg Dom is without a doubt the main attraction of the old town. Inside you'll find the Romanesque font where Mozart was baptized.
Take time out to visit Mozart's Geburtshaus, the place where the composer was born on January 27, 1756.
The house is located in Getreidegasse, Salzburg’s most attractive and most visited shopping street with its high and narrow houses and romantic courtyards.
Mirabell Palace and Gardens
The Schloss Mirabell was built by the Baroque master builder Lukas von Hildebrandt. You can stroll through the magifical gardens and take part on one of the many concerts they made. Mirabell Gardens, along with the Felsenreitschule and Nonnberg Convent, is one of the most important shooting locations from the famous Hollywood musical “The Sound of Music”.
Museum of Modern Art
The Museum of Modern Art located just above the Old City area on a hilltop. Displayed on an area of 2300 square meters are internationally acclaimed modern and contemporary art pieces, as well as works from their own collections, which the public can enjoy in a series of rotating exhibitions.
