Zakopane is a well known winter holiday destination, thanks to the nearby mountains. Take the Cable car to Mount Kasprowy Wierch (1987m high), where you can find two ski slopes as well. Please notice, that might buy tickets in advance to avoid long queues at the cashier.

Although we do not offer Zakopane to Krakow route, we recommend to choose train from Zakopane to Krakow. It is a bit slow but no problem with traffic jams. The train station can be found walking distance from the main street. You also can choose many bus options to Krakow, takes around 90 mins.
